On Tuesday 13th October 2015, thousands of students turned out for the student sessions at Highcross Leicester. It was an exclusive event where students could take advantage of additional discounts being offered in the majority of stores in the shopping centre – aswell as activities, competitions and giveaways from 8.30pm till midnight.

Highcross placed a prominent focus on the importance of live DJ’s at the event, to entertain the crowds of eager student shoppers. This focus was clearly evident from the first line of the marketing campaign for the event – “I am live DJ’s” showing their commitment to play host quality DJ’s throughout the event.

Dancefloor DJ’s was delighted to be offered the opportunity to DJ at the Lacoste store, located on the lower level of the shopping centre. The store was busy as soon as doors opened and was getting the crowd going with a mixture of chart hits mirroring a positive energy from all the students. Matt, who DJ’d this event said “it’s great to see Highcross showing appreciation for DJ’s and getting us involved in such events, we were honoured to be asked to DJ at the Lacoste store – a brand we were proud to support”.
