As we enter a new year it is always a time of resolutions and looking forward to the brand new blank slate that lies ahead of us – but it is equally as important to reflect back on all of the amazing experiences and achievements of Dancefloor DJs and Events in the past year.

2015 was an extremely busy year for us and brought us new opportunities to work with both new and existing clients and venues. We would like to begin by thanking all our past clients of 2015 and hope we managed to create the bespoke service you were looking for, for your event and would be delighted to work with you again in the future.

We are proud to have retained our position as the only promoted resident DJ at Mythe Barn Wedding Venue, as well as landing a Christmas residency at Hothorpe Hall and the Woodlands (for more on this info on this it will be in the next blog post). The strong underlying relationship between Dancefloor DJs & Events and these venues is invaluable in creating a seamless presence at your special day and we look forward to continuing to build on these relationships through future events at these venues next year.

Dancefloor DJs & Events was kept busy in this past year with approximately 100 wedding receptions and an additional 10 corporate bookings. Across these bookings we managed to showcase all of our services including DJs, Dancefloors, Venue Uplighting, Confetti Cannons as well as introducing 2 brand new items to our portfolio this year; LED LOVE letters and a White Wedding postbox – both we are glad to say have proved extremely popular additions to our service!

So looking ahead to what 2016 has instore for Dancefloor DJs and Events we are delighted to enter the new year with over 50 confirmed wedding bookings so far and many new enquiries. We are continuing to expand the business this year in a number of dimensions through:

• Additional services such as AV & Conference support
• Lighting Design service
• Sound and lighting Hire
• Adding new DJ’s to the team

And keep your eye out for new items we are introducing for hire for your special events.

January is steady for us, allowing time to catch up on all the new enquiries and leads from over the Christmas period. We are also looking forward this month to exhibiting at the Mythe Barn tasting event where we love the opportunity to speak to all of the venues booked brides for the coming months and showcase how we can accentuate the venues beautiful natural features inparticular with our uplighting packages in addition to DJ services.
